Rio Vista is the best neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale for Halloween

Halloween in Rio Vista is the Best!I may be partial to Trick or Treating in Rio Vista because I grew up there. The month of October seemed to slowly move towards this favorite time as my friends and I prepared our costumes. When October 31 finally arrived we  were ready to hit the streets.Trick or Treating was always the best in this lovely Fort Lauderdale neighborhood and it still is!

Years ago we had Floyd Hull’s homemade candied apples to look forward to. The line was worth the wait just to have a bite. Now treaters pour in from all over looking  forward to homes magically transformed into haunted houses and yards turned into spooky grave yards with caskets full of candy.The residents really go all out to make this the best door to door experience for all ages. Parents and their children dress up and hit the streets early to be sure not to miss out on the great candy for the kids and goodies for the parents.Don’t miss this wildly wicked neighborhood affair.
